Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

We don’t need to replace much, she had a lot of cast iron already, and our stainless items are all magnetic. We just lost my favorite 5 gal sauce pan, a 3 gal sauce pan, a small frying pan, and sadly my griddle that has served me faithfully since my bachelor days in the 80s. In fact I think it’s the one my mom donated to me when I first left the nest.

Just cancelled our trip to the Southwest Missouri Tandem Rally. It's a great tandem rally and I'm tolerating my new cancer med pretty well but my wife (and I) fear that four days of heat, humidity and hills may be a few rides too far.

Mrs. rjones28 prefers a gas cooktop and an electric convection oven.

I only use the stove to reheat leftovers, so I don't have a preference.

Time to update the baby eagles' progress.

Here we see Tony and Vinny each taking an assessment of how much pain might result if they did anything fool hearted, like fall out of the nest.

Looks like they have compared notes and decided that staying in the center of the nest would be most prudent at this stage of development.

That’s what we had, and then the wife picked up an air fryer at a moving back north sale. Her daughter and her sister convinced her she could not live without it. We still have the gas cooktop though
