I sold two more today . So far , minus 5 bikes and no acquisitions. Feeling better not having them sit . Now ….what is next? Taking a hard look at my fleet. If I decide to move it will be a lot easier without so many bikes.

Another one on the stand but this will replace my daughter’s Quick 24 in the spring. Already included in N so N is currently a constant but open to change.

I sold this bike today. This was the hardest bike I have ever had to part with. It is an actual Merckx Motorola Team bike (Michel Zanoli). I am sure the seller's remorse will be setting in pretty soon.

26” wheels and 12” 4130 frame - yeah I picked it up so N+1. This is the fill in for my daughter until I get her Trek 850 painted and built.

Two framesets have left the building! (queue Elvis's "thank you very much").
I had been keeping one of these Raleighs for some reason: late 70s Super Course MkII, and 1981 Competition GS, but looking around in the bike dungeon (basement), I just had too much stuff, so I ripped off the band aid and gave both to a friend of mine who will probably use them to help fund his rent.
So, after the acquisition of two British lightweight framesets, a 1964 A.S. Gillott (Ron Cooper brazed) Alpine Tourist Deluxe, and a 1949 Rotrax Vel D'Hiv, I broke even.
I still need to build up a "rat bike" for commuting but knowing me, it's going to be far better than it should be. I'm probably going to use this Welsh Witcomb which is bright tangerine color and might be beat up looking enough to be somewhat inconspicuous. Fingers crossed.
All that said, a friend of mine is "gifting" me with three more bikes, two of which I'll oil up, add air and stick outside for kids to take. The third is a Humber Sports and will probably get restored and flipped, unless it becomes a parts bike for my British 3-speed addiction. I guess the equation stands as (n+2)+(n-2)+(n+3).
