Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Oh well, after I do the split from the 100 to go on the metric I will wait at that turning point and wave at you. But please don't be too long I have somewhere to be that day!

No BSG. I have heard that the HH is very difficult but everyone has there own judgement as to what is hard and what is not. I just don't have the time to do the 100 miles. I think it is very doable<is that a word?

My wife is interested in doing the metric, so i'll be riding that with her and possibly with a buddy of mine who has been riding too much lately.

The HHH is not really difficult. It was my first organized ride. I also did the metric. There is one good climb about 2 miles and 1000', but the rest is rollers. The downhills are a little tricky.

I will be there doing the metric again this year. I am shooting for a sub 4 hour time. I would like to find a drafting partner.
