Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Portland Roadies Not Doing Livestrong - Sunday Ride

Those not doing the Livestrong ride, come on out and join JRider and myself for a 50 miler or so.

9 AM at the corner of 13th and Glisan in the Pearl District. Meet in the parking lot.

See you then.

Sunday Sunday Sunday! 9am! Parking lot at the corner of 13th and Glisan in the Pearl District! 50 of the most intense miles you've ever seen plus the fire-breathing, bone-crunching Truckasaurus!* This is the ride to end all rides... BE THERE!

*Disclaimer: Truckasaurus will not be in attendance.

See Rad, you needed a copywriter who does automotive ads to help your post out a bit. See you and hopefully some others there.

Sounds very intriguing to me. I'll have to see, but I'll probably be able to sneak a 50 miler in with y'all.

I have been getting Livestrong advertising every couple of months. Is his organization is required to obey the anti-junk mail listing? At least they do not call. Probaably because I did not give the LAB my number.

He's here for the Livestong ride on Sunday. He's actually here quite often doing business with Nike.

That may be difficult, as there are ONLY 30 or 40 coffee shops in and around that area. Making a choice may be daunting.

Cool, I am actually up there quite a bit myself working at the Intel plant. I was kicking around doing this ride earlier in the year. I wish you a good ride on Sunday.
