Love my new Chrome Kremlin

I got a Chrome Kremlin on closeout this weekend for 70 USD. My 15 year old TB2 was on it's last leg, and needed to be put to rest (given to a friend who needed an extra large bag for work). All hype aside, this is the best bag I've ever owned. If you're in the market for a bag, you should check em out.

I'm getting a Reload Civilian souped to the gills for Xmas, but I'd love to have a Kremlin as a backup for larger loads, if I could find one at that pice in lefty I'd jump at it.

That's actually less than wholesale...helluva closeout, especially at a SF shop. Now that our shop can get Chrome, I'm almost tempted to get another one, but I really want to support a small guy in Ohio (Seagull), however he still hasn't responded to my e-mail, so I'm getting impatient.

Where did you get a Kremlin for $70? All I want is a citizen for under $100.

Small gear shop on Fillmore had it laying for the last two years and wanted to move it. They hadn't sold Chrome for almost a year and were sick of it taking up space. My wife walked in on our way to the Kabuki movie theater and saw it covered in dust and offered the guy 70 for it.
I rode home today with it packed to the gills. Best bag ever.

i;ve had my kremlin for...2 years I think. I was a hand me down from INKDWHEELS (most of you didn't know him). Thats puts it at around 3.5 years old. I've crashed on it, slammed it in car doors carried laundry, used it as a carry-on bag, and of course mess'ed with it. Its pretty waterproof, I never got anything wet as long as i kept the flap down. The bag is huge too.....HUGE. I could carry 2 sets of clothes, shoes and anything else I would need for a weekend in it and still have spare room.

I love my bag.

I believe Pedex uses this bag for work (as a messenger). Perhaps he will chime in.

After being a skeptic for a while, I finally picked one up because my cheap Timbuk2 wasn't big enough, and was uncomfortable. The Kremlin is a great bag, really comfy, really solid. The only thing I would change would be to have it larger in the front-to-back direction. It's super tall and wide, but I can't fit square shaped things in it well. Other than that, it's absolutely fantastic!
