saw the 08 pista at my LBS. they have the typical chrome as well as the navy blue, which i think replaces gang green. i think everything is the same. fyi on the blue one, the seat isnt black and chrome, its black and cheetah print. no joke.

Where at?! I've exhausted my search in the Bay Area (california) looking for an 07. I haven't even seen the 08's yet The Bianchi distro center in Hayward says that they no longer have 07's in stock at least in 53cm-.

i didn't know the d2 wasn't new. it looks cool. i meant the new pista like, replacement new... like the focus is the new contour, or the yaris is the new echo.

i wanted a concept and now i really want a d2.

I saw a couple of pistas in American Cyclery yesterday, and a san jose. Don't remember the sizes, but they seemed pretty large.

Is that catalogue intended for North America? Because I know they don't sell the San Jose in the UK. Also, I didn't see the Volpe, which has the same frame as a San Jose.

EDIT: Color is spelled "colour"

+1 for the new color (navy blue > gang green)
+1 for the bars
-1 for the pedals
-1 for the stem

That saddle looks overextended, which explains the bars. If they're coming like that stock...

gang green was a beautiful bike color, the navy blue is nasty, IMO (looks super "bull****" with the world champion stripes and the leopard seat).

I think they just set it up for a too-tall individual. Look at the seatpost extension. That's not right.

I think it looks great-- that new color is lovely.

God forbid someone have a positive rise stem...
