32 spoke holes and 1 on each end of the axle, adds up to 34 for me. Perfectly simple logic.

Nice FUGI for sale. How do you misspell a 4 letter name that is right there on the bike? HUH????

FUGI "Gran Tourer SE" 12 speed with black lightweight Chrome Moly Frame which is 52 cm center to center on the seat tube. This bike should fit someone from about 5'4"-5'7". It has new bar tape, new Dia Compe brake levers and covers, and new brake cables. It has "cool" FUJI branded Suntour Vx derailluers with "very cool" stem mounted shift levers. It also has "super" FUGI engraved crankarms. The tires and tubes are usable and holding air. You may have your choice of new Forte flat pedals or the used quality 1980s vintage caged and strapped pedals shown in the pictures.

FUGI made some very nice bikes in the 80's and one can tell that this was one of them.

The bike is clean, touched up, lubed, tuned and ready to ride and is a very nice starter road bike at this price. Call me for a test ride at XXX-XXX-XXXX

Which means you're: a. Too young, or, b. Not into 70's pop music.

The reference is to the band T-Rex, primarily the creation of one Marc Bolan (died in an auto accident, 1977), know for the worldwide mega hit, "Bang a Gong (Get it On)" in 1973, later covered in the 80's by The Power Station. Marc was one of the original glam rockers, a contemporary of (but inferior to) David Bowie in the Ziggie Stardust and Alladin Sane periods.

I liked the song, but I think that knowing the lead singer of a one hit wonder band is not necessarily common knowledge.... I know T-Rex was slightly more than a one hit wonder for those who followed them, since I think they had a couple of albums. But come on, it's not like someone who doesn't know the likes of Ian Anderson or Robert Plant or Mick Jagger or David Gilmour or Randy Bachman or any one of dozens of well known leads in bands of the day...

At 50, I hardly think I'm 'too young'. I know who T-Rex & Marc Bolan was. Tho' admittedly didn't live and breathe the celebrity scene.

Only after looking at the auction listing a half dozen times and reading your explanation did I make the connection with the misspelling. Sometimes I just can't connect the dots. Thank you

Bababababy, you ain't seen nothin yet.
I have never heard Bachman Turner Overdrive compared favorably with Jethro Tull, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd.

But Randy Bachman was also with The Guess Who... But I wasn't comparing favorability, just saying there are names that people may recognize more readily.

But Marc Bolan had a connection with Syd Barrett era Pink Floyd. In fact his wife was involved
with management of Pink Floyd and was one of the only non group members who actually tried
to help Syd, and that Syd trusted as he spiraled into his own personal hell. (I just finished reading
Saucer full of Secrets)

He (Bolan) was also a very trippy english folk singer in the Donavon (Leitch) vein, not quite a
one hit wonder.

They say "50's Schwinn Bike - $595" in the title, but then describe a newish mountain bike.

Sounds like some Schwinn MTB/crusier hybrid.

This may not be so numbskullish, perhaps he's counting on snagging some search results from other folks that can't spell. Problem is, he forgot to use the correct spelling at least once!

My search "camp*" would only be 2 for 3 on those spellings
