good point
and we are doing a 853 frame with wide clearance

and a single speed cross bike in 4130
with canti brakes

and we already sell lots of Outcast 29ers - and people mount 35c or 38c on them and some change to different drops

I like single speeds and we are going to have more all the time

I suppose I shouldn't talk, since I don't have one myself.....

But I think if you're going to use the forum to canvas opinions about products that you're SELLING, you should probably pay the $25 and get the little red star.

Jus' sayin' is all.

Would you consider doing this bike with longer, horizontal dropouts, a la the Cross-Check? If so, it would allow for easy use as a fixed gear of single speed bike. I can't imagine that many people would be buying the 853 frame to race with, so I don't see it being a huge problem there.

Two or three of the ads to the right (that have been up there for years) are his.

Good call, you'd think I would have noticed since I have to look at them all the time.......

[EDIT] Just embarrassed myself into paying. And it does actually look better without the ads. Not that I was paying attention to them anyway.

white, 3rensho blue, rust, yellow and any neon colors are cool too.
BUT NOTHING BEATS PURPLE.

this is the only thing that could possibly have made me regret buying a kilo tt.

I think if it's threadless it would be really considerate to make sure that the steerer was thick enough to be threaded by a 3rd party safely.

Interesting that you don't notice all the ads he already supports the site with.

Why? Why make the fork heavier than it has to be just so some luddite can set it up sub-optimally?

For the love of god, do NOT make a brown one - it shouldn't be a big secret that Surely already has that camp.

Sounds like a sweet bike. Burnt orange is a cool bike color IMHO

yeah i know threadless holds up better and is easier/less expensive for tweaks...but i dig threaded. the threaded stem and the fork were swaying factors to the kilo IMO, it'd be a shame to lose them.

Damn, those sound sweet. Ever consider using semi-horizontal dropouts with derailer hanger so they can be set up geared or ss/fg?

do a gunmetal and a burnt orange.

also, i would do exactly what you're planning with the kilo tt pro but i would upgrade the wheels as well to mavic/formulas. if you could get that priced around 550 dollars you will sell tons of bikes.

why don't you just do cyan, magenta, yellow, and black? that way you can buy enough to make whatever color you want!
