Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I hate to be rude for the sake of it, but I have this kind of need to 'service' this thread (for want of a better expression) seems I posted it up here, people ask questions and I share any information I have, mainly so that if they are interested they can knock one of these things up themselves (or their own version).

But c'mon, you have got to meet me half way !

In answer to your question: "so it lights up when you attach a battery?" - an answer:

No, it does not light up when you attach a battery, it is powered by a spell cast many thousands of years ago on a planet called 'Xzious' by an evil warlock know to the people who live there as 'Mordecious'. The prominent battery pack sat on the saddle in all the images, which is attached to a power lead, along with the red operation LED are all just illusions projected into your mind by the spell cast by Mordecious.

Don't be fooled, liverunbike seems to be one of the few posters here to see through the spell and question how this thing is powered, I say well done liverunbike.

;P

Hey,

I know these things are sold on the Akiba street (you know J-geeks' holyground?) in a kit form for some months. But you aren't interested in that. Fortunately you can buy evaluation kits and apparenly that is this product.

https://www.surelight.co.uk/ecom/EL_P...it_-_large.asp

But for I don't understand is how you can slip under the crump without crushing the EL material.

Have to go with one of those Profile Aqua Racks then. I think some illuminated waterbottles would be pretty cool.
