That looks good. I think they really should have made the color scheme red and black (instead of white).

sup yall. I'm new here. I see a lot of really nice bikes here. Here's my day-2-day beast. I ride it SS, cause of the bad knee, but once and a while I flip it. I have it dialed in, and i love this mother****er. I'll get some detailed pics after it's next bath.

<pet peeve>I wish everyone who rocked a top tube pad could end up with one that fit their bike perfectly.</pet peeve>[/QUOTE]
this was a custom made top tube pad.
i actually wanted it a bit shorter than the length of the top tube.
imo, it just looks better than having the entire top tube padded.

Got my new ride in earlier this week, traded My Felt tk2 for a fuji track pro, the felt was to small for me.
And yes I name my bikes. Stickers were on it already, I thought the death one was fitting. As soon as I can get the fork drilled a brake will be installed!

i love, love ftp's.
it really needs some bullhorns or drops though. i like the stickers but i'd probably have called it "killer shamu" or something similar.

I'll probably throw some drops on it at some point, still trying to strengthen my core more, plus it's really comfortable right now. Once I'm stronger I'll probably use them for alleycats or days I know I'm going to ride a lot. I did like 30 miles today and it was great.

The Mighty Pompino with road tires. This bike spends half it's life with cx knobbies on the trails. Hence the wide bar and Jekyll and Hyde flip flop: 13 tooth fixed / 18 tooth free.

Long time lurker... finally signed up after getting my old 81 Schwinn World Tourist up and running as a fresh single-speeder. The ratio is 47/16T, and I commute 17miles each way to work 4 times a week (working on getting that 5 day in). Was nervous to got to single speed on the long non-flat commute, but after the first ride (this past Monday) I knew I wasn't going back to more than one gear! Okay, enjoy jibberin'... here's my tourist.

thanks, everyone. in case no one knew, it's a 60cm kilo tt. and not to sound like a self righteous prick, it's one of the nicest kilo builds i've seen. i built it with the " i dont give a **** what people think" mentality. yes, the wheels/ tires are worth more than the frame. yes, it has risers- with oury's! yes, it has lime green velocity's- with white tires! OMGZZZZZZZ a polka dot top tube pad??!! whatever. i really don't care. i think it came together quite nice. it was built on a very tight budget, and i used alot of affordable (cheap) components - rocket ring, bulletproof cranks, etc- and contrary to popular belief, i ride about 70-100 miles a week on this bike. it will also be ridden in the hotter n' hell 100 this year. again, thanks to those who liked it! i'm getting that warm and fuzzy bfssfg feeling in my cockles.

My 10 year old Marin Palisade's Trail mountain bike, Im turning her into a SS. It is also my weight weenie project. After taking off all the shifters, cables, a chainring and derailleur and such, it dropped 822 grams! She weighs ~ 16- 17lbs right now. I just need to get a fork pump and new rear tube.
