Yes. I have a set. Fantastic rollers. You can really change the resistance level from easy to super hard.
Lots of fun! I enjoy them much better than my fixed wheel trainer. Can stand and sprint and get pretty crazy on them. They have bumper guards to keep your bike from flying off.
The only down side was it took about 5 weeks for them to deliver.

I'm building my own set. The E-Motions are really nice, but I coudl not afford the $$. I figure my project will end up costing right aroud $200 but I will have to add a resistance unit eventually.

The e-motion intrigues me, but the price scares me.

You may have seen it, but there is a DIY guide on how to make your own, using your existing rollers. I found it via google once, but unfortunately don't have the link.

Have not looked at these in a while. Is it just me or did they make a design change?
The top picture is the version they are currently selling.
The rest of the pictures on the site look more like the original unit.
No bumper in back , and the mag unit has been moved to a middle bar?

Several of our riders have tried them alongside Kreitlers and TruTrainers. Everyone has gone to TruTrainers. Check the Serotta forum for lots of commentary on the TruTrainers as well. They are still relatively expensive, but stunningly well made.
All the extra hardware on the e-motions is really just for beginners. After you've used the rollers for 2-3 weeks, you won't need it any longer and at that point it's just stuff that breaks or has to be cleaned off. TruTrainer puts the investment into a dynamite flywheel (inside the rear drum) and incredibly fine construction. Check them out at www.trutrainer.com. E-motion gets a lot of press, but when riders try them side by side, they don't measure up. Lots of hype from riders new to rollers. You can literally do a lot more on the Trutrainers. I'd recommend getting the flywheel release option so you can do both flywheel and high-cadence workouts.

You have multiple resistance settings with the emotion rollers. You can spin without the flywheel or grind it out on level 3. You can stand and sprint. It is nearly impossible to jump off them.

They both look great to me but I can make my own free motion rollers for less than $200......
I don't know how many retail sales either of those companies can be making at their prices....

The Trutrainer is nice, however the fact that one of the main benefits of them is an option, the large mounting platform, doesn't speak to well of the marketing. They also lack the floating aspect that the free-motion rollers use. The trutrainer does seem well built, but cnc machine frame rails seems a bit un-necessary. For being within 100$ of each other, i'd have to agree with with others, the inside ride rollers would make more sense unless space is an real big issue. The free motion assembly doesn't fold, and takes up a bit more space then standard rollers.
And floating free motion DOES make a difference when you're ass is on that thing for hours and hours day after day during the winter. Most pro's wouldn't need such a thing cause they live in better climate's where putting on their team coat and some knikers is enough to keep you warm, meanwhile it's -15deg celius here, and even colder the further you go westward in canada, with the snow, and the dog sleds and all...

I got them a few months ago (after hardly any one responded to my poll and thread! ) I have rode them some (getting them in April doesn't make much sense, as I can ride outside all I want). I don't have any other roller experience (you can see my obligatory First Time on Rollers video here). Haven't been able to get out of the saddle yet. The bungee cord motion appears helpful. It fits under the bed.
