Keirin Manga

So have any of the Japanese readers here ever read some of the manga put out about Keirin?

I just picked up オッズ, a book about a racer who has lost his family and races against his rivals for their sake. So far it's ok, with some good splash pages now and then. I really dig the detail the artist puts into the bikes, including famous Keirin makers etc. There's also random factoids about famous European racers.

My co-worker let me know about this one, which I hadn't seen before.

There are also at least two other manga whose names escape me at the moment.

It's up to book 8 and still going right? Amazon reviews are hella low. lol

Should be able to get it at any mid-sized manga shop really. Publisher is 小学館.

i'm sure it exists...

i'm glad to see this thread though, i was planning on putting up one myself. the japanese have manga on every conceivable subject (including the USA presidential elections!) so with the popularity of Keirin, i figured there'd be more manga & anime on the subject.
