Jerseys that match your bike?
Sorry for the fredtastic question, but i was just wondering if it is the cycling fashion to wear jerseys that match your bike paintjob (red frame, red jersey), or to have contract in colors (red frame, blue jersey). Just wondering, trying to end my fred look

Matching, unless the team kit you are wearing was running mismatched stuff.
Quick-Step, Pre-2003 Team CSC and Fat Chance team fits this criteria.

I dunno, if you feel good, you may have a positive-er attitude and it might translate into a better ride.
My bike is pretty much all black/grey, and I feel especially "stealthy" in a black jersey and shorts.

I have 27 jerseys in all the colors of the rainbow. I just wear whatever I feel in the mood for.
But ... in thinking about it ... several of them are blue or have blue in them, and my bicycle is blue ...

The only time jersey matching is important is if you are on a tandem... tandem teams should have matching attire.
I have a blue bike, and I don't own a single blue jersey. But then again, I have a blue bike with yellow bottle cages and pink bar tape... I just like to be colorful.

My main bike is white. .. Unless you are the champion racer, you are not supposed to wear white.

I like my red jersey on my blue bike. I've only ever had black shorts, but I do 5 jerseys. I only wear my red one for the most part though, I figure I wash my shorts after every ride, I may as well wash the jersey and wear it again tomorrow.

Just wondering if my Jimi Hendrix jersey, even with its complimentary colors, could ever really be a good match to my carbon frame. Or another way to look at it ... what bike would Hendrix ride?

Strats still look great 50+ years later. I don't like the look of carbon bikes because they look too engineered and slick, aesthetically (never ridden one...they're probably great). I bet he'd ride a heavy steel tourer and take it easy, baby.....yeeaaahhhh.
