No picture available, but I have a $10 yardsale Huffy that I commuted on for about 2 weeks before my boss took pity on me and we arranged a swap of my son's 3-wheeler for his Specialized Stumpjumper which he was planning to sell at his own yardsale.
The Huffy is going to be donated to the local community bike store for parts as soon as I can summon up the courage to ride it there!

Two years ago, I built an uber-cheap bike. I spent $4.00 on a cable guide and about $6.00 on brake pads. Everything else was either canibalized off of other bikes hanging in my shop or recycled from dumpsters and trashpiles.
Frame set: Early to mid '80s lugged Miyata (had 27" tires, at some point)
Derailers F/R: Shimano Tourney (Dura-Ace chain)
Gearing: Shimano 45-52 and 6 speed 11-28
Pedals: Wellgo comp platform
Rims: 26x1.5 chrome from an '83 Huffy
Tire: Whitewall Schwinn Cruisers 26x2.125
Seat: Bell Velo (?)
Brakes: Unmatched, no-name levers and calipers
Handlebars: Mini MTB from a toddler bike

I have a $15 GT Outpost that I have been using for a couple of years in a variety of roles. At first it was my around town errand getter (slick tires). Then, my dedicated grocery trailer hauler (no one has taste bad enough to steal it). Now, it has fenders and studded tires and is looking forward to a winter of fun.
I love GT's. This is not a loveable GT however. Heavy as a stone. Dead ride. But it provides a tough platform for the various rough duties.

I did a temporary work term in San Francisco this spring. Here's a bike I bought off of Craigslist for $60, saddle and rack excluded. I sold it four months later for $15 more than what I paid for it (kept the parts that didn't come with it when I bought it).
Check out those early 90's Biopace chainrings.
That Brooks Team Pro is now on a Giant OCR3. It is fully broken in and has aquired a nice, deep patina. What a sweet saddle. I paid $115 for it new from Ebay.

Won't be the cheapest, but it's a nice bike that didn't cost much: Four or five years ago I bought a mid-'80s Trek 620 tourer (lugged Reynolds 531) at a garage sale for $15. It came with a Blackburn rack ($40), barcon shifters ($75 now, don't know what they cost when it was new), Brooks B17 saddle ($90 or so), new tires and a Cateye computer. I originally bought it to cannibalize for another frame, but liked it so much I kept it pretty much intact except for converting it to singlespeed (15 bucks for a BMX freewheel and spacer). I have an Atlantis and Rambouillet, but I probably ride the SS as much as either of them--it's my everyday bike, for groceries and around town, while I use the others for tours and trips.

I have received many free bikes also. Trek, Schwinn and Huffy.
I bought a Biscayne Blazer for $7 at a garage sale 3 years ago that is my daily ride for work.
I keep it running with good used parts from other bikes I picked from the trash of have received for free.

The cheapest bike is the bike that got stolen...from you with the Dura Ace and 2,500 frameset, and 1,100 wheelset. The most expensive and cheapest bike.

No pictures of anything, but I have a short list.
My main bike is a Schwinn Traveler that I found for free on trash day. A little cleaning, and it was good to go.
I got a Schwinn World for $1, a Raleigh Record for $1 (later sold for $30), and a couple of Schwinn's for maybe $5, all at university auctions.
A neighbor gave me a Trek 800 moutain bike that I rode for a couple years, never needed any work. Sold it for $50 since it was too small.
Now that I think about it, most everything I've gotten was about $25 or less initially, and never needed anything more than some tires or a part from the old parts box.
