How do you like that Z25, sojourn? I'm thinking about getting myself the 09 Z25 come May or June as a present for transferring to San Diego State.

Mine's all DA and I believe the 09's are all SRAM as I recall.
I upgraded the wheels to DT Swiss and changed out the seat to a Selle An-Atomica. I changed back to the carbon stem that the Z25 came with as the Thomson, though nice, added a little too much "road buzz".
The ride is very smooth and the frame is not overly stiff.
Congrats on your transfer!

I think I want to build my own wheels now.
Edit: I think we have the same garage door. What size is your SL and is that a compact?

It's a 56...nope...it's a standard crank size.
love the bike though...i was on a 08 tarmac expert before this with DA...love the Red and the new bike..
i still understand what people mean about the flat rear tire thing...it's weird...it acts funny when you're not sprinting just right...it definitely tells you if your form is jacked.

Pulled my old 1978 Trex TX500 frameset out of the barn that I built up l-o-n-g ago. It cleaned up really nicely. Photos at ...

And I found Gary Fisher's 1978 Bicycling Magazine article, describing his tour of the then-new Trek frame plant. Is is on the "Documents" page of the same site.
