Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? those wheels are so silly, they would just snap at the bend first time it gets tested. and are you just supposed to ride in a straight line? i dont see how you would be able to turn the front wheel

Good point. Can anyone explain this? Maybe we are just missing something.

the only thing missing is to make sure that you realize that its only a design from a designers mind, and consideration for feasibility, functionality, or reality was secondary.

Exactly.

People seem to be forgetting it is a concept bike.

"The design would utilize current technologies and materials.Carbon fiber would make up the majority of the frame with the exception of connection and hinge points.
The lower frame portion stablizing the crank would be extra rigid, created from injection molded titanium structured much like that of a human bone.
Progressive, sleek, fast and fun.Who needs a car when you can be one with nature."

It looks like there's a hinge point in the second picture.

The green part of the frame is supposed to look like a frog jumping.
