Another nice ride is Seven Lakes Drive in Harriman Park. We often drive our bikes up there and park at the boat launch parking at Lake Sebago, though there is another large parking field (with restrooms open year round) at Silvermine. All the roads up there are lightly trafficked and make for some nice riding. You can map out some nice long loops of 25 miles or more, with plenty of hills, both rolling and steep, I was up there last month to register my boats and get lake keys and noticed that Seven Lakes drive had been repaved all the way from the Palisades Parkway to the Kanauwakee Circle (Rt 106). Hopefully they were going to finish it all the way to Sloatsburg.

Man, I'm dying to make one of these. The rest of my August it shot. If you continue this into Sept. & the fall, I'm all in!

I'm supposed to ride w/ friends on Sunday. This sounds like the perfect ride for them, but it's a little too early for most of us. Have fun! Are you driving up or taking Metro North up?
