That was awesome. So what happened to the Columbia bicycles? What happened to Westfield manufacturing? Who knew its role in the U.S. bike industry and industrial America went back so far. And how about all those women building wheels!?

The entity still exists at Westfield MA, selling institutional furniture (ex: desks for schools) and bicycles, though suspect the latter are now manufactured off shore.
