Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm thinking of buying one for my next bike, but that may not be for a while. I have no doubt as to the quality of the bikes, and the current sale prices are the best deals I've ever seen ($1249 F-100 with rival). My question is, are these sales frequent (i.e. can I expect to find the bike at around this price a few months from now)?

You should definitely go for out. The aerodynamics are great. The tubes are hydroformed, has great vertical compliance, and the lugs are a true piece of art.

It's comparable to a titanium bike.

Uses 7000 series aluminum.

I would love to get one of their alloy bikes, looks like a great value and performer for the price. But that down tube is just so ugly I can't bring myself to seriously consider it. The carbon on the other hand...

^^ agreed that down tube is awful. No idea to what the performance of the bike is, but it sure is ugly.
