question about running
do you guys think i need to call a doc, or is it something silly like my shoes or bike fit
when i run i can't feel feel my two lower fingers on my left hand. I don't know if it is the impact or what.
I dont know if it is my torn rotatory cuff acting up, not an issue when I swim or cycle. 30 push ups is no issue then my shoulder hurts, but I expect it to.

I have a similar problem w/ my entire left arm going numb while running. I just take my arm, put it behind my back for about 30 secs, and bring it back in front and I can feel blood going back into it and it goes away. Yeah, it's weird and often wondered what the hell is going on w/ my left arm.....but then I forget about it after my run. Not that this helps you, but at least you know you're not the only one.....be interested to see other replies to this........

are you guilty of...
1 clenching your fists?
2 being tense in your arms/shoulders/traps?
3 having an overly tight bend in the arms?
if so one or all are easily fixed and will most likely end up being your culprit. when it happens check for those 3. then relax your arms and shoulders, get a natural 'pump' going, and straighten and shake your arms out for a few seconds. then keep yourself relaxed. sometimes simple lack of movement is the cause as well.

Numb
Are you lifting weights? I had the same problem with my right arm and my Dr. told me to do shoulder exercises, especially pulling down the weight and that worked.

it turned out to be the pushups and my rotator cuff not getting along
