I like these old English three speeds. I have a 1955 Greyhound (made in Birmingham). My wife saw me eyeing it at a tag sale many years ago, and went back unknown to me and purchased it for $200 in 2012. It was probably only worth $50.

TY for info--also just got an offer to get a Triumph from my neighbor who is clearing out his garage. Saw it hanging high up in the rafters--looks about same age as my Indian. Has more rust-no seat--ladies bike. Bike is free--just need to find a way to get it down.

I had a new 1952 Indian three speed with the grip twist shifter. I put many thousands of miles on it in 10 years. It is one of my early bikes I remember well.

A rusty ladies 3 speed has essentially zero value. Buyers want mens style, level top tube. Even then, 3 speed market is limited (not great).

While great fun bikes the Indian if in good complete shape with fenders chainguard and semi decent original paint is worth $200-250 . The lesser step though as said is near worthless likely more time effort to get it down and rolling than it's worth, I have hard time selling even top end step though 3 speeds even slightly larger preacher men's size frames at a semi decent price.
