I think we had discussed this one earlier in the year when it came out. Their stuff is expensive but cool. Though with the discount it is cheaper than my Abbey HAG but serves a slightly different purpose. Would I own one probably not but it is neat to see this sort of stuff come out. Now if someone bought one for me I wouldn't say no...LOL

wait it has lasers....anything with lasers is good right? I saw this on GC Performance site. pretty cool stuff. Not sure if I would pay $200 for it, but I do love the idea. As I say that, I remember that I have some fairly pricey lasers tools in my garage, so....

So I looked at the pictures and description and have no idea how this thing is supposed to work or what it exactly aligns. Is it just for setting the limit screws as the above quote states or does it do other magic. My initial thought was that it aligned the derailleur hanger, but I'm not so sure now.

Edit: I found a video showing its use. All it does is help you set your limit screws as well as fine tune your DI2 setup.

That's a disappointment. If it helped straighten your derailleur hanger, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Existing derailleur hanger tools are fiddly bits of annoyance.

i clicked on the link and its discounted from $124 to $74. All my bicycles with RDs are mechanical (cable-shifted) and I don't have a problem adjusting those, so its not useful for me. I looked around at their other offerings and noticed wheelsets that were formerly $400 or more are priced at under $100. That odd having so many products at deep-discount clearance prices.

I doubt it is legit, I really didn't notice it at first but yeah it looks fake as hell.

Yeah the picture of the Leichtes seatpost on the link is grafted from the Bike24 website in Germany. they have been sold out of most of those seatposts for months now. So the idea of having one of their exotic in demand seatposts in the more desirable (common sizes like 27.2 x330 mm) at clearance prices is more than a bit suspicious.

Hard to say, definitively.

The domain name is 6 months old (owner ID protected), and the SSL certificate is 7 days old (Let's Encrypt certificate, lasts 4 months--typical).

The IP addresses (plural) are owned by CloudFlare. Maybe in California.

Site seems to be using pretty standard technologies: WooCommerce, WordPress, Google Fonts, Underscore.js, jQuery.

If the site is not legit, somebody sure put a lot of work into making it look legit.

they act like they have a brick and mortar store in "Phoenix NV" when you click on "about us". But really sketchy is my guess. You see fake bike parts and apparel companies with slick websites like this all the time of facebook.

I can't find a place called "Phoenix NV". They list their address as:

201 N Nellis Blvd
Phoenix NV 89110

There is a 201 N Nellis Blvd, Las Vegas, 89110, where there is a Walmart.

I've spent a lot of time in the Tune website researching for Weiner Bike SL. The absence of any specs, the too-good-to-be-true prices, the few QR optioned hubs...Oh! & the fact that Tune only sells through it's dealer network (never DTC), was the tip-off for me.

Tuneparts, really? My browser would've auto filled if I had ever been before. Buyer beware...I wonder if they have any $135 wheel sets?

There's a scam that pops up occasionally where the scammers set up a fake website (with minimal info) based on a legit website and run all purchases through a 'back-office-processing' company that does the 'grunt work' for internet sales sites. There's supposed to be a way the scammers can exploit the back-office process to send any payments directly to themselves if you buy something, and to collect your info (address, CC# which the back-office companies usually don't give out) to continue the process without you knowing about it. It doesn't last long, but scammers can really rack up charges on your CC in that short window of time and you won't be sent anything. This might be one of those scams.
