Bike now Broken?
Hello everybody,
today was my first day at work after 2 weeks of vacation. I normaly droved to work and back. But I needed to go back in the afternoon. At the way to work everything worked fine, but at the way home, I couldn't switch gears and the chain have a really low tension. So I looked at my bike (Triban Grvl 120) and saw this (look at pictures). Now my Question is, if that is broken or is the problem elsewhere?

Looks like possibly this spring broke releasing tension on the "B" screw.

What are you doing or what gear combo are you in when you get the loose chain? Is it only when in the small rear cogs and small front, of does it happen in the larger tooth combinations.

In the top photo of your second batch, looks like the derailleur mounting bolt (just below the hub axle) is angled down. This almost always means the derailleur hanger is bent or broken. On virtually all modern bikes, that hanger is a replaceable part. I'd take the bike to a shop that carries the brand or call their US office. (Many other shops should be able to help you through their suppliers if the shop has the person with the computer savvy and desire to help.)

Looks like you crashed on that side. Scuff marks and the hanger looks bent.
Why is the top bolt so far out?

Move derailleur back and see if you can get the set screw catch on top of the hanger. Screw looks stripped to me, and may need replacement. Take a look at that first.

Does shifter loosens or tightens the cable? I think regardless if hanger is bent, derailleur would still move up or down gear.

It looks like the B-screw was forced to overshoot where it's supposed to rest on, so there's no way it's doing its job.
The upper derailleur pulley looks to be right up against the cogs.

The lock/unlock symbol indicates that the clutch is disengaged, which means the chain won't be as tight. That shouldn't have any impact on the shifting though.
