Its too dirty to take pics of at the moment because I haven't washed it in like 500+ miles with a bunch of gravel, but I should be able to get it washed and have pics taken on Sunday or Monday.

Nice man. My buddy's dad has a bunch of the old pioneer spec amps. They don't make them like that anymore.

Black Reflexite conspicuity tape.

Looks black during the day but glows ultra bright at night when light shines on it. I'm going to put a few pieces on my wheels for night riding. It is the same stuff they put on police cars and ambulances...

This... for less than $105 shipped. Likely priced because of people's fears of 170 cranks. Will work fine with my 53mm BB drop/road only use project.

Toyed with selling my MX Leader, but decided to keep it and build it up with a couple of changes.

-Had a local framebuilder spread the seatpost clamp lug and ream the seat tube for a 27.2 seatpost - now running a Sim-Works Beatnik post. I had been running a 27.0 0 setback Thomson as that was all I could get to fit.

-Picked up a Record 10 compact/UT/QS groupset - my first Campy groupset - and I'm pretty stoked on it so far. Definitely suits the vibe of this bike.

-Bought a Campy freehub for the BHS/Archetype wheels I already have to keep the budget down. In the future, this needs black Record hubs laced to Open Pros. Or something.

I'm running the BHS/archetype setup on my Stevens with a 11s Chorus group and I think the wheels are just fine. From an appearance point of view I wouldn't change anything, very nice bike.

I also have a new non-NJS 48t S75 ring, and holding both in my hands, I'm having a lot of trouble seeing any quality difference between the NJS and the budget version. I don't care one way or the other about NJS (frame isn't NJS), so I may sell the NJS 49t and let that pay for most of the BB.

I got an All City 612 crank. I didn't really need a new crank, but Retrogression had a killer deal on a display model: $100, including a bottom bracket.

I put it on my Steamroller, and it's doggone beautiful! Perfectly concentric chain ring, and I do mean perfect.

I could not be happier.
