Seems like a good alternative to bikes

Low impact enough? I'm checking other sources that say, you can easily cruise 20 mph on it. Same speed as bike but much lighter and much simpler and may take you faster on climbs.

The movement and color would attract dogs from miles away.

I don't ride my bicycle because there is not a "good alternative". I do it because I like it.

I remember watching this on 1 of those invention shows. The would be investors were concerned with the learning curves and potential injury from that height. They passed on this but I think he finally brought it to production but wasn't that well received.

I will stick with my bike, I like riding my bike, That looks like a good way to fall while walking. I can do that without increasing the altitude.

Bigger question in my mind is whether the movement and color of a cyclist would attract those things?

Just what we need, one more thing chasing us around and trying to knock us off our bikes.

He'd have to get sprung first. Not eligible for parole until next year.

Oh, I thought he had. Maybe he had a parole hearing, but didn't get sprung? I am truly stumped.

Those things look about as comfortable to wear as ski boots and they certainly don't look simple. I don't see it as an alternative to cycling but to each his own.

Some versions uses leaf spring and have less moving parts. IMO, the leaf spring version will also be more efficient. Compared to bike, they are simple. No chain, no spokes, no gear shifting, no tires. You save lots of time having not to read endless debates on chain lube and spokes.

Not unless you ate some exotic meat, drunk, and ate lots of red meat shortly before you took a stride and also wearing big dark glasses and aggressive stripes or wearing all-black attire.
