The larger frame size seems a bit more rare. I'm looking to use as a gravel/ tour set up.
I picked up a minty 950 in a medium frame for my son for just $120. Just needed repacking bearings and brakes adjusted .

We have a few in our area for sale, and they are between $80-$300 or so. Very nice if you happen across a good deal on one! Yes large size is harder to find. Good luck with your search - you will find one!

I would not call $350 a bit high, I would call it crazy high. If it was one of the first year of two Trek MTBs, 1983/1984 ish, sure, you can get in that territory. In my area, the large to XL size stuff is harder to sell.

I'm inclined to agree. And this thread is timely, because this just showed up in my backyard and was such a good deal that I absolutelyhad to grab it. It was even less than my estimation in my post above, about 6-8 Starbucks drinks -
