It's strange that at the merry and happy time of the year people are more mean, stressed out, angry, hostile to each other than at any other time of the year except black Friday madness Just go to your local shopping mall and parking lot and take a drive around and see how people behave.

Exactly why I like Canada's Thanksgiving timing far more than the American one. At least us Canadians have more than 2 months between turkey dinners. You Americans have turkey twice within a month!

Its that time of year to watch all those fun Christmas movies to get you in the holiday mood - Die Hard, Bad Santa, and Scrooged will be a good start.

It isn't Christmas until Hans Gruber falls off of Nakatomi Tower.

Happy Winter Solstice (Spring is closer every day), Hanukkah, Kwanza, Christmas, etc. And pleasantness for the rest of us.

May the New Year bring Peace in the World.

And good ski days (or any Winter sport) for the atheists.

Has anyone started a Happy Easter thread yet? No? Happy 4th of July?

I understand Elon Musk has copyrighted the X in Xmas.
