How much is this bike from 1968 worth?
HI, I have this bike and I'd like to get an estimate on the the Value. The bike is from 1968. The frame has some patina and a small dent on the top tube. I've provided some pictures.

thanks for posting this fine piece
great to see it in such excellent condition and nearly all original
likely to generate a good deal more as a part-out than as a cycle due to public unfamiliarity with marque
although one can well argue that it would be a shame to break it up
bits such as the Vittoria Fulmine, T.A. bottle cage & Brooks Pro might move even more rapidly than the Campag...
one advantage of a part-out is that it generates some proceeds right away
appears CH or DE origin
lug pattern is NERVEX 45/159
fork crown appears it may be a model of Georg Fischer
bottom bracket shell looks to be a BOCAMA Professional

Likely too small seat post. Should be fixable, but you never know.

It's Danish, SCO was and still is a well-known maker in Scandinavia, I believe it stands for Schmidt and Co. I have a similar, Simplex-equipped model, the 'World Champion Cycle' which is a bit newer. Mine is the only one I've ever seen in Canada, and was a special order from a well known shop.

WOW! Rare and lovely. It would be a shame to part out something this rare even with the ‘dent’ in the top tube.
Just curious, where are you located?
Cheers,
Van

That's a dime piece. A wall hanger. A Sunday ride.
If you're going to sell it ask for a lot of money. I don't know anything about the provenance of this bike. But, don't ask less than $1000 to start.

A bit of a hodge-podge which devalues the bike. Weimann brakes, suntour rear derailleur (very nice but not expensive) Brooks saddle (a plus) and campy bar end shifters (a really nice plus but that's just me), unknown seatpost, and pretty generic handlebar stem. Are those campy hubs on them wheels?
For money parting it would probably net the most. For keepers I would upgrade the brakes to correct campy brakes, campy seatpost, and a better stem. I would keep the Suntour cyclone because the original campy one at the time was inferior.
