Here's my 81 Sport. Nothing fancy but it sure rides nice. Since this pic was taken I've replaced the brake levers, bar tape, seat and tires.

Here is my DX-1000. Rides very well and I'm just waiting for the weather to break, so I can give it a more thorough test.
As far as I can tell it is all stock except the saddle and bar tape.
Best regards,
Mike

Rick, your pic didn't come thru. Best to post pics to Photobucket or similar site and then post a link.

Some great bikes in here. I love the AR-6000. I wish they made a track version.

Here's something for the ladies. Me, about age 15, with my first "real" bike, an 82 DX4000 with 600 Arabesque.

Haven't cleaned it up yet (just purchased) but I found this 1974 Touring Deluxe which was in pretty good condition for being 36. Barcon shifters, chrome lugs (and exposed chrome on the fork/rear triangle), Dura-Ace crank, Nitto Universiade 105 bars and Maillard 500 hubs.
I dig it.

I'm not sure what this is...but it's tange champion 2 and had a SR group on it, so I'm assuming it's something special. It also has very nice frame details.

I think it's one of those Panasonics that were available for custom order in the early-mid 80s.

Sorry, no pics on me at work right now, but my regular commuter is a PT-4500, '89 model. I bought it off the original owner who bought it in '91 as a leftover after the touring craze died. Deore cranks and derailers, 105 brakes. Nitto stem and drops. Besides my being pretty hard on my rear wheel, it has been a great commuter.

Khatfull very generously facilitated a nearly new 1987 Panasonic Team Time Trial. To say that I am ecstatic would be a gross understatement. This thing is seriously minty.

Just got the set of brakes I needed and I've got all the parts lined up. Gonna start building up my '84 Team frame tonight. Its a bit cosmetically challenged but for 10 bux I couldn't afford to be superficial

Wow, I want that!
Would love to post some additional photos of your bike on the museum web site if you want to share. Just email me at editor AT panasonicbikemuseum.info
Now that the new web site is online I can work on adding some of the other submissions I've got waiting....

Well, I have been acquiring quite a few "Schwinn-Asonics" lately, (Panasonic built Schwinns). Not sure if such Schwinns fit in this thread. But with a 1973 World Voyageur, a 1987 Prologue, a 1988 Prologue, and a 1992 Paramount Series 5, I am pretty happy with my Schwinn-asonics.

Okay, I'll bite, because I'm so in love with this bike right now (and posting it everywhere just proves that it's awesome, right?). The tires are filled with air now, and I've done some adjusting. The bars are rolled up a bit and the stem is raised, and the seat is lowered. Put on MKS touring pedals. Otherwise, these pics are accurate to the bike as it is right now. I've put about 11 miles on it since I bought it two weeks ago (damned Seattle darkness and rain!).
Coming for it: smooth chrome fenders, maybe, if they will fit. A Japanese aluminum bell of some sort. A mount for my Cateye so I can ride it at night (see reference to darkness above) and a nice blinky. Reflectors will then come off. A new white saddle, either from RobbieTunes or elsewhere, and a Small Saddlesack in grey grid from Rivendell to hang on it. Eventually, new tires in either all black, or black and white. I may end up with a shorter, taller stem eventually, to sit up a bit more. I may not. More riding is necessary.
This bike is seriously purple compared to these photos.
My 1989 Panasonic DX-5000. Sun-tour GPX components. Dunno about anything else, as these things don't really stick with me yet, but it rocks.

SP: Great find on that DX-5000! I find a lot of bikes, and finding one that nice, in that size, is really rare. And its in great condition!

The Drive Side is Within
1981 DX2000, my main ride. 26" ST (66cm)
Hi Ten, but these were spec'd at 25 lbs. It is pretty light.
Had the bike since 1999 or so. $40. New 7sp rear wheel build this past spring.
The bike ran a century with 4400' climbing in 6h10 in June. Yes, with me on it.
My new Jamis steel/carbon 3x8 speed is no faster.
