Vintage Schwinn Prologue TT original specs?

I have a mint prologue tt bike with a hodgepodge of parts: 600 tricolor rear mech, campy crankset and brake calipers, shimano 105 1055 brake levers and shift levers. Did it come with the 105 1055 oem? and what model stem and bars did it come with? seat? thanks to anyone who knows, cant find anything on web as i think it was largely sold as a frame only

Funny bike/pursuit frame? Was it in the Wheaties color configuration? Red/white/blue?

My understanding is that it was always frame-only from the factory. Bike shops may have built them up to sell, or the buyer would have selected the parts. I could be wrong though.

+1 Prologues were only sold as a frameset. No specs on the build out, that was up to the owner. I have two Prologue road bikes right now. Great bikes IMHO.

I do believe that Toytech owned one of these. I kind of want one to goof off with.

yes I did have one,it was too small and got parted out. The build was Shimano 600 7speed, Sansin rear hub, Sante block cog set, Phil Wood front hub with Araya tubular, Cinelli LA84 bars, DA levers and exage brakes. It was a beautifully crafted frame and construction wise the equal of any lugged frame I have ever seen. Value wise it is hard to say, but the frame set went to a Japanese buyer for 250.00 buy it now option on Ebay after getting no bids the first time. Kind of a niche item.
