^I think SE's stock Floval Flyer supposedly weights 22.7lbs. That's pretty darn good for off-the-rack and a measly $630. I think my old 20" Powerlite (chromoly) was like 21lbs.

It's a great shop with a friendly staff.

I have long term plans to get a custom Ti Holland built for my daily/training bike. While the Exogrid bikes look cool, it seems gimmicky to me. I prefer the aesthetic, simplicity and longevity of straight Ti tubes.
That is awesome, I wish I had those kind of connections. Good to know those wheels are working out.

I think there is something to it but who knows it could be gimmicky, all I know is I likes to look at it and I wouldn't mind owning one.

Today I got to put my grubby hands on the Cinelli Mash Work Frame.....instant lust. On the heavy side, but I'm assuming it actually really is bomb proof. Nice details throughout.

Are those bosses on the seatstays for screw-in canti studs?

EDIT: maybe they were thinking Vs or mini-Vs...?

Today and yesterday I was able to get some genuine saddle time on the Bianchi since getting a threadless setup on it.

I learned about this frameset first hand from one locked up in a rack.

The thought process was: "Woah that's a pretty cool frameset; is it custom?" "Oh it's a cinelli, pretty cool" "ewww MASH, my condolences to the owner's wallet"

$800 is a bit much for Cromor but I suppose this is acceptable when most other bikes have degenerated to no-name hi-ten for the sake of the bottom line.
Not to mention the clearcoated industrial raw look cheats the buyer out of a cool cinelli paintjob. #profits

I'd ride it nonetheless if something bad happened to my kona and I'm able to pull some strings to get a hook up.

I got to hold one of these myself when they 1st started going out...

My buddy that got me into riding fixed and who I got my own Cinelli frame from thought he had a deal with MASH to get serial # 0001. The box came marked to indicate that it was, but when he opened it - the frame was actually stamped 0014.

That frameset was a 50cm and felt pretty light to me. I really liked the stripped-down "industrial" look and yes, it had removable canti studs - hey actually came packed in the parts bag.

He returned it over the serial # issue but offered to let me buy it from him before he did. I passed but even now kind of regret having done so, should've taken a pic...

track spacing/ends - check
internal cable routing - check
tire clearance - check
canti studs - check
two bottle cages - check
standard BB and seatpost - check

TAKE MY MONEY!

Seriously, this exactly what I want. Pretty sure this will replace my Steamroller eventually.

But it's not from Mash. The only thing that's nice about that bike is the raw finish cause it looks rad with a cetma on there.
