Riser drop bars
I have two bikes that I'd like to have riser drop bars for so I can get rid of the remaining stem spacers. With like a 15-20mm rise. Purely for looks and I have the mod bug which most can relate to. I want a name brand that also makes stems/seatposts so I can match it all, not nameless China stuff. Mixed brands is my pet peeve.
On my older aluminum bike I already know I'm going to get the Control Tech CLS Road Riser in pic below. My other bike is a Diamondback Podium. I'm looking for carbon bars for that. If I decide on aluminum I'll just get another CLS. I know about the FSA K Wing but they don't look to have much of a rise. I don't the gravel type with flared drops.

If you can find them, Specialized offers a round carbon drop bar with a 15mm rise, non flared. They also offer an aero drop bar, with 25mm rise. They show as sold out on the US webpage, but if you search around you may find them in a shop, or the shop may still be able to order it.

For those who who need the bar height, risers definitely look better than a tall stack of spacers. I see them becoming increasingly popular. I'd suggest you not discount a slight flare unless you've already tried it. I recently got some Ritchey bars with a 12 degree flare and I really like them. The drops position seems more natural for my wrists.

Won't it bug you that the brand of bars and stem won't match the brand of bike. How do you deal with the other components not matching the brand of bike? Maybe even different brands between components.

That's a great way to limit your options and compromise fit. Aren't things like setback, rise, reach, drop, and angle more important than matching the brand?

I'm only interested in replies that address my question. I've been road cycling for 34 years, I'm good with the education stuff. If I look at a brand of bars then I'll do my research on the other parts. But thanks.
