Touch up paint - 1987 Schwinn Le Tour

I have a white 1987 Schwinn Le Tour that I would like to touch up some areas where the paint has been scraped to prevent further damage from the elements. What is a good source for touch up paint for old Schwinns?

Nail polish is good for small chips and is available in a lot of colors, especially red. Testors model paint is another good one, but you may have to mix colors to get a good match.

I have an 88 LeTour and Testors Blue is a pretty good match for the blue parts of the blue/white fade.

Every time someone asks about touch up paint I always tell them to use nail polish. Take your fork, frame or even walk your bike into a CVS or Walgreens and match up a bottle.

You could also try an auto parts store.

I usually find a testors paint. Sometimes I mix in some black or white for a closer match.
