So inseam measurement with no shoes is 32" and with my shoes its 33.5 which puts me in the 55cm frame. I guess I've always known I have longer legs then upper torso. I don't understand why would I take measurement without shoes if I always ride with shoes?

edit: i just looked at the pictures and it looks like the frame is a 49. I’m comparing it to my bike which is a 52.

When you say it "looks like" a 49, do you mean that is the size, per the seller's description or a label on the frame, or that your calibrated eyeball made the assessment by checking pictures of it. Because it can be really difficult to get a size right just by looking.

I think it was local pick-up only and it was close to DC which is where I will be in a few days.
It wasn’t dirt cheap or anything but i have been wanting a Wabi for some time now and I think I might have been happy with it at that price.
But if there’s one cheaper elsewhere...

I’d like a pair, as well.
Looks like I’m going to be using a set of weinmann take-offs for this build as that’s what I have sitting around.

Not replacing it. Need a new one entirely. The frame came bare except for a bottom bracket.
Still a pretty good deal for a hundred bucks.

Not bad for $100. I thought I scored a good deal w/ a full kilo tt for $250 but mine comes with everything stock. I'm thinking pedals, stem, bars, seat, 28 tires to start with and then wheels and crank next.

What a crazy rabbit hole I've gone down. So I went to my LBS to see what parts they'd recommend and ran into a nice guy that told me he's selling his All City Thunderdome frame and carbon fork for $250. I got creative and asked him if he'd trade my entire Kilo for the frame. Mind you I only paid $250 for the entire thing, it's 11 years old and I was going to replace everything on it anyway. He said yes.
So I've gone looking for a Wabi and likely ending up with a Thunderdome frame buildup.

Lol this is gonna sound funny but similar thing happened.
Was talking to a friend and mentioned I’d be happier with the Iro Angus if I had the option of running a rear brake on it.

That bike was a 49cm. We don't even make a 53cm. The seller was going off a center to top measurement on the seat tube, which is ~53m. But not a good way to measure frames (even though brands do it).

Yes, I agree with you. Using C-T can lead to inconsistent sizing, since the ST extends a different amount beyond the TT on different frames. On frames like the Wabi Classic with an integrated seatpost clamp, it extends less than on frames with separate seat clamps or collars. Personally, I prefer to size frames based on the TT length, and not worry about standover as my criterion for choosing a particular frame. The only reason I own a Wabi is because you make a smaller 650c wheel version, since the 49cm Wabi is too large for me.
