Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thinking bad breaker since the whole circuit is dead in which case it’s time to call an electrician. Any ideas before I do that ?
If the gfci is the first thing in the circuit, I would try replacing it.

The only downside is a few of the posts are about 1-2 inches WIDER than 10 feet across, so I will have to screw on/nail some "extensions" to make the 10 foot 2x4's 10 feet 2 inches long in order to fit.

Not a big deal and mrs datlas is quite pleased with the look and cost.

No definitive answer. Prolly not < April Fools > (non-possessive), but opinion varies as to whether the head noun (fool) is singular or plural. If plural, then < April Fools' >; if singular, then < April Fool's >.

The OED (Oxford English Dictionary) accepts, and explains the historical case for, the latter. In North America, the plural possessive variant is widely used and sanctioned by some dictionaries.

Is that good or bad? I thought serious cyclists only use hydraulic disc brakes.

I'm ready for you, punk kid.

Still haven't ridden it except for a few laps around the block. Easter and my electrical problems consumed my weekend.

I need another weekend. This one ended up being entirely too busy. Had a good productive day off on Friday but then had to stay with my wife at the house where they're dog sitting, then go to work on Saturday and spend the night there again.

Surprise on Sunday morning when we were going to go home and go on a bike ride when another misfire started on the Escape. Same code as last time P0201 injector circuit open but cylinder 1 this time.

This time the connector was fine and the injector harness had proper continuity and no shorts so I started checking resistance on all injectors. All checked out with similar values but cylinder 1 was open, so I thought I would just pop in the old cylinder 2 injector I had saved but it checked open as well. So my last misfire wasn't necessarily the connector backing out but a failing injector.

So today I ordered 4 more which should get here Wednesday, and if I have time on Thursday I'll replace all the other ones before we drive to Missouri on Friday/Saturday. And I'll probably bring those 4 good ones with me on the trip plus all the required tools just in case they give me more trouble. I'm a bit concerned that there's something frying the injectors since I had two fail in about 2 weeks but that's way beyond my ability to diagnose. Also bought a new serpentine belt that I'll bring along on the trip just in case.

Need to do an oil change tonight or tomorrow.

This car is getting expensive.

I installed the disc this morning. It looks like it was already installed, and removed when packed. Big Bicycle thought they could catch me out with those torx screws.A t handle would be better, but we’ll see if it holds. I have a very slight tick when holding the front brake and rocking the bike. This new fangled heafset is my first. .I am assuming the front brake/rock method still stands.
And if it does need adjusting, that happens with the to cap, correct?

I am anti disc to start with. Hydraulic would be more of a pain than I could stand.
I noticed a number with nm at the seat mount. I will not be getting a torque wrench of any stripe.

Our latest upgrade offering: We are able to modify deep sections rims to utilise the space inside for storage of gels, inner tubes, roast dinner etc. Why not use all that wasted space to give you the extra edge?
