I have this aero Campy seatpost to trade/partial trade/whatever. It came with a Ciöcc I recently purchased. The guy I bought it from noted the hand-drilled "pits" and thought that a previous owner of the seatpost probably did this to try to create a tighter fit with another bike. At this point the "crater lips" that would have been created via drilling are gone, leaving a smooth shaft. The pits are cosmetic only, and won't show once the seatpost is inserted into the seat tube.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say those holes were made to keep the seatpost from slipping...

Did some spring cleaning today, let's see if I can trade these away!

Have:
1.) Steel 52t 130BCD chainring. Looks to be in very good shape with only a little wear.

2.) SR SP250 Pedals. These are typical 80s road pedals. Work well with clips and straps but may need to have the rear lip taken down a little bit if you ride in soft-soled shoes.

3.) Iscaselle Triathlon Saddle. If you like curved saddles similar to the Selle San Marco Concor you'll like this one. Has some very small chunks missing from the front and rear and surface rust on the rails, otherwise good condition.

4.) Retrogression V.track pedal straps. These were my extra pair. Probably have <700 miles on them. They show some wear and a little fuzziness but otherwise good condition.

Want:

+Decent quality 6/7/8 speed chain 3/32"
+Mid-level 1/8" 17t cog. (All-city, eigthinch, etc.)
+25c/28c tubes
+KMC 1/8" chain

Have: (nothing else in picture available)

6207 bits: shift levers (partial hardware?), crankset (BB+arms+rings+bolts), brake calipers (recessed mount), RD. Also have 7 speed Sachs chain. Dull but look to be in decent condition. Some oxidation on fasteners

Shimano 600 AX seatpost (6300) 27.2, in need of a shine but not rusted. Super nice post once cleaned up. Has a set screw to keep your angle even when loosening the clamping mechanism.

Exage aero levers with hoods in 4/10 shape.

7s Deore indexed thumbies.

Need:

I'm looking for 8s indexed shimano bar end shifters and flared/dirt/rando drop bars. Not suuper flared. Please respond via PM or email.

Also looking for crank bolts for the granny gear on my triple crank. Need 5 bolts that go right into the spider.

I've got a set of Campy Record hubs with Italian threads laced very nicely to a pair of Assos tubular rims in good condition. I am unsure of the hubs age. Anyone out there interested in trading a set of clinchers with iso threads for these bad boys? Alternatively, in search of a 7 speed freewheel with 35 x 24 tpi threading. I also have a SunTour V GT in sound mechanical shape, a Shimano 600 FD (FD-6207), a very long Cinelli stem, and Jeunet drop bars.

I might be, based on condition and spoke count. I have a six-speed clincher setup, 36h Campy LF hubs mated to black Mavic MA3s with DT spokes.

I have this Blackburn rear rack that attaches to the brake bridge but I need something that attaches to the seat stays. I'd like to trade for the same rack or something similar that mounts to the stays.

Sugino Super Maxy crankset orjust the smaller chainwheel 170mm.
the larger 52 chainwheel is not removable. 52/39

picture stolen from velobase
in useable condition-no nos, no near perfect, scratched, dented fine with me.(cheap cheap cheap)

or help figuring this out so I can find something else,

(there is a set of sugino maxi of an older style on ebay now that would look better on my usa ride.)

In 1980 I took my cheap cardenalli with 3 piece cottered cranks and steel wheels apart and built it up with any alloy parts I could beg borrow or steal, I got a new set of Sugino Super maxi cranks, I spent my boyhood with my buddy cycling around baltimore county.
the bike went in the shed and 15 years later I took the cranks off and put them on my folding bike which I was traveling with.
Now I want to get my cardinalli in working order again, I brought over(stateside) a used set of cranks and after mounting noticed the outer chainwheel is maybe 5mm further outboard.

I looked for the smaller chainwheel but cant find it, odds are I threw it out.

my easiest solution is to just find the same set.

If you have a set you dont need tell me, then we figure out what you want to swap for it,

mike in finland and baltimore this summer.

I would like to trade my 9 speed Veloce RD and FD for a set of 8-sp derailers, preferably Athena but other models considered.

If you only have an RD that is ok too. Will trade for other things as well, just ask. Email or PM please.

Edit: found what I needed.

Have: 10speed Veloce Ergos in pretty good shape (only have used with Shimergo but worked well in that setting); 130mm Ritchey Force quill stem in nice condition, Shimano 600 FD-6400 clamp-on front derailer, Shimano 600 6400 single pivot brakeset (recessed).

Want: decent vintage 700c clincher wheelset (126mm rear spacing prefered); preferably of late 80's- early 90's time scale. European preferred for this build but Shimano/Suntour could also work. Also looking for braze on FD.

Regarding the suntour shifter...

I have a friction on it now. It's my wife's bike, she can't master the shift. She's frequently riding on top of the gears, not quite clicking in solid. I am hoping that with a SIS, it will fix the issue.
