Watching a tweet doesn't count.
Speaking of a tweete, this confirms what I have thought for a while now. I am in the midst of global cooling. #MOTD

Hard to say, can't see enough detail. Looks pretty big to be a hawk. What looks like white underwing would indicate it's an osprey, but if that's glare and not white then it could be a vulture. Hard to see.

Looks like things are looking up for my legs! MIL visiting all week, which is awesome for me and Liz since we got more time to ourselves. For example I'm going to take my sweet ass time cooling down and stretching/foam rolling after this ride lol.
I'll most likely be able to get a couple of long rides in . Nice.

Some of the earlier rounds were on NBC live. All are on Peacock, which I don't have, but I was glad to see the full mains on yt. Sometimes it's just a highlight show.

I joined a group of 5 others from club #2 for another last-minute off-schedule ride today. These are always fun and this was organized by the same woman from last week. 3800 feet of climbing, most of it in the first 20 miles.
She had a flat near the start and one of the guys told her the tire was no good so she said she would turn back after the first climb but when we got up there she decided to 2 more climbs with 2 more descents. I turned back with another geezer, we both had enough.
Sometimes I worry about her, though. She's a mileage junkie and likes the steep climbs, too. They rode hard yesterday and she looked wind/sunburned and tired. Still made me work for the first flat miles.

Roofer to discuss findings with insurance company with a claims representative to visit house and inspect. Then after a passage of time and negotiations a decision will be made. If I get a roof, it will be scheduled for an unspecified future date. It could take a while.

Interesting day for Flagstaff trainspotters. This little guy broke down in east Flag today, still waiting for new power.
The CSX 52 leads that J train west with a generator destined for unloading in Needles. Unfortunately it may be stuck in Flagstaff for a bit. The motor is BO'd not to lead and, well it is, and throwing a braking code. DS working on a plan.
