It is the little round part with the hole in it that you put the brake cable though. it has 2 plastic bushings and 2 metal washers as well.

I am missing 3 of them and wonder where I can them?

They appear to be the same in 7-8-9 speed brifters.

I would check your LBS maybe they have some broken ones you can harvest the parts from. Also put post in the C&V ISO thread but include the specific model you need the parts for.

Shimano themselves is currently out of those, and expects more in October. If you can't find them anywhere, I could have some ordered in, they're $5 each. You're looking for a "cable hook unit," Shimano part number Y6BD98110.

I've gotten them at the LBS myself. They had a box of dead STI (Shimano, are you listening???) and they were more than happy to find me a couple. Note, if your shop helps, be sure to reward them with a purchase or two!

Please don't confuse ebay "asking" prices with "selling" prices. Many sellers never get their ask price. some are far from it. Value is determined once an item actually SELLS. Its easy enough to check SOLD prices.
