Ergon bar pads
I found this interesting. Not ready to retape any of my bars any time soon, but I do find myself wishing for a little more koosh.

Pressure point reduction is as important to me as vibration dampening for hand arthritis and gel has been far more effective for me, both construction type anti-vibration gel gloves and under bar gel. Don't know what OrthoCell is (sounds like marketing hype) but may give it a try on one of my modern bikes as i can not handle fat bars on c&v or foam under shellaced Newbaum's.

In the past I've double-wrapped my bars many times. Although I've never felt the need for Ergon products for myself, I admire the thoughtfulness of their design and quality of their construction, and I know riders who swear by them. These pads certainly make more sense than some of the other solutions I've seen--stick-on gel pads that burst, other stick-on pads that just make wrapping the bar more difficult, and those neoprene slide-on grips that were popular 40-50 years ago. I wouldn't be surprised to hear of pro riders using them for Paris-Roubaix.
