Okay, I have lost the ability to paste into the editor boxes on my Android. It used to be that I could only do that from "Go Advanced," but it is now broken everywhere. Can't paste a link, can't paste reference text - this is pretty critical functionality. Ditto for highlighting text, so even formatting is much harder now. Basically anything that requires press-and-hold functionality in the editor is broken.
My Android is my primary internet device, and I have no interest in booting up a laptop or desktop just to post. Is there anything that can be done to offer us the old text editor as an option in settings or something? If I can't get these basic functions working on my Android, my ability to use the site will be severely compromised.
Very frustrating.
Edit: just noticed I also can't upload images directly now. This is bad. Is the "issues" thread still around somewhere?

Direct upload back please, this part of the software update is not good, in fact just plain frustrating, as I am in the middle of a Challenge needing regular update photos and can not, started a Photobucket account and tried everything in there possible, I thought the software was supposed to be better?
Seems a whole lot worse.

A note to BF decision makers:
I suppose this should come as no surprise in a "classic" & "vintage" forum, but I'll say it anyway. This new version is more user-hostile than the previous version. The difference is especially noteworthy when accessing BF on a smart phone, even one with a large screen like the Galaxy S7.
1. The fonts are too small.
2. There is too much "stuff" on any single page.
3. On my subscribed-threads page the key thread info on the left are widely separated from the number of replies and views on the right. With so much smaller cells across the page they are much harder to follow.
4. The soft colors of buttons are not an improvement, but rather, harder see and identify.
In a nutshell, from a UI standpoint this new version is not an improvement. It is different with no benefit. Instead it is a step worse.

What Jim said, +1, and then some. As said above, the log in doesn't recognize the "Remember Me" check off, frustrating at best. No way to go to the specific forum's TOC when you are at the last reply, at the bottom. Don't use the last reply shown first method, ever. None of the smilies work for me, small but annoying thing. And I am replying to a thread that belongs in the Forum News section for this sort of thing. I need to go purchase some patience, I suppose. Good luck with the "update" Admins, you seem to need all the help you can get.

Also keeps logging me out.
Maybe it's just me but I dislike mobile versions of sites. Features are left out. I can't click on the page I want to view from the main page and many of our threads here are a gazillion pages long. I keep getting ads in between posts and it's overall not really great.

+10000000 I liked the notification while here on the site and I LOVED the email notification. It was very helpful, a great "Heads up" when someone answered a question from a few days prior.
