I just noticed they spell dispatch as despatch. Wonder if that's a typo or a Britishism. What the hell is spatch anyways? All I know is dispatch and spatchcock. I always kinda figured it was dis-patch, but if despatch is a word that would be de-spatch.

Woohoo! Supposedly it'll be new tyre day for me by 7pm. Still blows me away how stuff gets here from there so quickly.

My 80 year old neighbor went by a food give-away this morning. One of the ones where they put boxes of groceries in your car. He said the line of cars was blocks long so he didn't wait.
He likes to go to the local give-away where things are donated by stores and it's all laid out on tables and you just pick what you want. He comes home with stuff and gives some of it to us. Gave us some really good salads and bread.

BIRD CONTENT!!!
While heading back down Mt Hamilton today with my retired ranger buddy, he pointed out to me the bald eagle nest in a eucalyptus tree.
No eagles so far this year, but last year was a bit of a scene, as one of the eagles dropped a baby red tail hawk into the nest:
The story gets weird, as the eagles raised the hawk instead of eating it. But they weren't model parents. They brought another hawk to the nest, but ended up eating it.

Maybe.
Area church has some kind of giveaway a weekend or two a month. Lots of cars in the queue. I assume food is involved.
I don't even know what they eat.

I got two refills of prednisone at the pharmacy today.
Both 60 tablets. One of them 1 mgs, and the other 5 mgs.
On the printout it has the following "cash" prices:
1mg = $43.33
5 mg = $11.20
How does that make any sense?
