Beats the hell out of a cotton T. Stuff is awesome, merino wool and super soft.

I don't have any experience with similar products other than the ones I get from my UK friends. They tell me that they will ship to the US if the order is over £70, however much that is in real money. Here's the link, you can see if their stuff works for you.

thanks Grady, i really like the look of the Spur cycles as well. I'll shamefully admit I have 2 of the knockoff versions on my Surly and Weigle.

I'm looking at a Weigle locally today.

Definitely my size, definitely not my price range.

I left a note of interest last summer on the bike and he just got back to me.

Edit: The bike is gorgeous. However, he wants $4,000.

No, I'm not kidding.

Galli brake hoods and early Dura-Ace pads. Am I the only person who thought these were both NLA? Hilary Stone had them...

Recently picked up an 86 Trek 830, 95 Trek 930 and mid-late 90's Specialized Hardrock. Will most likely keep the 930 and sell the other two after cleaning them up.

I got a great deal on this Olmo frameset. I had all the parts layed out and ready. Didn't bother with before pics when ups dropped it off. And it didn't take long to finish. Mid level frame with Victory components. I plan on this one to be my travel bike. I hate worrying when I have a bike on the bike rack for long road trips.

8sp DA shifters (downtube) and an SRAM 8-sp cassette.
Seems to work, but I may have spun the RD cage one time too many when I rebuilt it.
The spring is awfully strong, wants to pull the RD right up to the cassette.
I'm wondering if I should take it apart and back it off a turn.

The only bike connection in my mail today was that I got a nice 45 of Valley Girl by Moon and Frank Zappa, and Frank once played bicycle spokes on a Rollfast during The Steve Allen Show.
