Not Rensho My best guess US build. based on the lug work .The style type dtop's were made after the deaths of three Rinsho bulders. The fork and stem look to be legit which seems a bit off.

I was sure that it’s a Rensho, has the panto on the seatstay caps.

Could be later one from the late 80' 90's very nice but just not a classic.

Anything can be faked. The real question in my mind is is it profitable? Faking a bike has certainly been done before, but it is usually done with decals and such and not necessarily proprietary frame details such as the seat stay caps as shown. That's a lot of work to go to in order to fake something. But hey, I've been surprised before. To me it does display hallmarks of a nicely-built bicycle, whatever it may be.

see 2 TT cables guides instead of 3,anything else? bottom bracket pic should be more revealing when the owner sends them.

It does look to be a very nice frame with the current paint and it being a later production model I would take a look at it in person and consider buying it. But I would be reluctant to pay the heavy premium 3renho frame sets usually get.

Looks legit to me - got the offset fork and the lugs are gorge. what are the dropouts? super ends by chance? if so that's legit 3rensho. problem is looks like someone re-sprayed it which will hurt the value.

contact andrew muzi at yellow jersey he'll set you straight as he was the 3rensho US importer back in the day. He can be reached at am@yellowjersey.org and can also get you decals to finish the frame if you're so inclined.
