Does this include indoor and outdoor cycling? I cycle indoors on bad days. But it is tracked.

There have been an awful lot of threads about "come do some challenge on Endomoto." Some guy in Wisconsin started one in the Pacific Northwest subforum today. He's posted the same one several times in commuting.

Is Endo paying people to start challenges, or to drum up new members for their service?

Unfortunately Endomondo only allows one activity to be chosen for each challenge, so this challenge is using Cycling, Sport.

Make sure that your workout is Cycling, Sport, not Cycling, Transport or Mountain Biking.

I can't speak for anyone else, but Endomondo has not provided me with any incentives to start a challenge. If you take into consideration that Endomondo is the one of the most popular fitness tracking app in use today, it would make sense that a lot of people would create challenges for Endomondo.

Sounds fun, I don't use a GPS, though. Perhaps I'll get one someday.

If you use a Garmin, you can upload it to Endomondo. This is what I've been doing.

Yes you can, in 4 easy steps.

1. Upload the ride to Endo.
2. Export the ride from Endo, to your comp. as either a gpx or tcx file. ( I always used the gpx)
3. Click the upload button on strava.
4. Upload a file from your computer, browse... and you know the rest.

I never saw an upload activity button till today. I'll have to re-adjust my screen setting to full screen. The upload activity button is off on the far right. I just wish I could sync both endomundo and strava together and when I upload the workout to facebook, it would upload to both places at the same time. Instead, I'm uploading each seperately through FB.

As long as people are participating I will renew the challenge every month. If you want miles and kcals, then there will be two separate challenges.

Endomondo does a lot of dumb stuff. The worst is how it is impossible (or very difficult to use the work-around) to "fix" a workout if you forget to turn your phone off before getting onto the train (or get back in your car if you are one of those types.)
