Several threads on upright to drop bars, how about the reverse? Any drop to upright bar conversations out there?

I've never done it. I always go the other direction, and have done that many times. I have gone from drops to mustache bars.

My restored Zeus - it had north road bars when I acquired it and I decided to leave them.
It's nice for relaxed riding, I took it to Charleston SC and it was a great way to see the city.
Also great for slowish greenway rides with my wife, for some odd reason she doesn't share my desire to time trial everywhere!

I've got a couple of "Townies" in the garage now.
My Cruiser, '74 LeTour. The only thing original is the frame and fork, because that is all the CL seller had. Just a simple 7 speed with dual pivot brakes. This thing is surprisingly light.
Another I put together for my daughter, Not sure the vintage, late 80's - early 90's I suspect?. KHS "Triathlete", Columbus tubing. I've since put some newer Tektro dual pivots on it. She absolutely loves this thing.

Might as well show off my best ever drop to upright conversion, a mid seventies Motobecane Grand Jubilee, one of the half dozen bicycles that I kept, when I sold off my collection...
I upgraded the Motobe with black anodized Dura Ace high flange hubs and brake calipers, black anodized Suntour Cyclone derailleurs, grips from a cheap totaled department store bicycle, a yard sale saddle bag I paid two bucks for and a lovely set of alloy fenders that I got from somewhere...
The Motobe is the go bird watching bicycle and rarely sees a paved road. That old bike and I simply go back and forth on the cottage roads, of which there are two but the things I see change every ride. Yesterday, a timber wolf ran in across the road in front of me(I was in Mrs. Me's Honda at the time).
