Couple of schwinns World tourist and a ladies Suburban
Hi, my cousin works with people running estate sales etc and from time to time he calls me with a "I found a blah blah, they are asking this much do you want it" and I just got a call from him stating that he is at a sale where they have a pair of old schwinns.
bike 1 is a Schwinn world tourist he states it has fenders, looks in good condition and gold in color.
bike 2 is a Schwinn Suburban ladies bike, same description.
I typically deal with old mountain bikes and am unfamiliar with these old schwinns and have yet to get an image from him, what would be a decent price to pay for the pair? is there any worth in these bikes or are they not worth the time?
This is a preemptive post to maybe get some info before the images get here (he is slow with technology) I can post images when I get them if they are needed but any opinions would be great.

$25 each if the point is to make money off of them. Both are low end/bottom end Schwinns, ladies style is much less desirable than mens style, etc.

If you fix them up nice and wait til it's warm outside again, you could probably get $75-80 out of the ladies' and $100-120 out of the men's. If they do look similar to each other, you may be able to sell them as a "matching pair" to a couple for 200-250. The late 70s/early 80s World Tourist and Suburban were towards the bottom of the Schwinn line. Not that they aren't solid bikes, I had a Suburban for a little while that I loved, but there's just little to no collectability, which means you'd be selling them solely as riders. I agree with $25 each being fair, though I dunno if I'd go much more than $10-15 if they need a lot of work- remember that if they need tires/tubes, that's $30 you have to put into each bike minimum.
