I am 6'2", down from 6'4". Loss would be all from my torso - with hip replacements, my legs might even be a bit longer than before. That's actually only a 26" frame, so not that unusual. The head tube makes it look larger than my old 26" Paramount, because of the short wheelbase, but still no toe overlap.

Ok, yea the short wheel base is what is throwing it off for me. A very purdy bike though. I do like that green.

For me it's still my Mondonicos.

1984 (or so) Mondonico, Columbus tubing, tubulars, Campy 3x10.

Actually now the geo and decals are a bit different. 2x10 compact, and new top tube and bottom tube after a significant crash. Plus not all the original decals could be sourced so the builder improvised. Oh well, it's aligned, has a little more cush and responsiveness, and it's back in riding condition. I'm glad I didn't have to junk it.

The photo of the red ELOS Mondonico is hiding from me at the moment, I can add it when I find it.

My Look 481 SL has a rather vintage appearance and I have always liked the paint job. When you get up close you can see that not a single frame tube is round

My most recent project. We did a 30 mile test ride together yesterday in the wind with whitecaps on the lake and a touch over 1500 feet of climbing. I am happy to report the fit is just about dialed in perfect & talk about smooth magic carpet ride comfort...Oooh, Boy! The steering is very light, nimble and responsive. Yesterdays 40mph descent was much nicer than the 20mph crosswind with 30mph gusts. Looking forward to many, many happy miles together.

I just like looking at it.

It's been the same bike for 10+ years. I wouldn't say I love to look at it, but when I do, the bike says "stop looking at me and get riding".

Yup. Then there is the Absolute Black oval chainring on a mixte. Cant say Ive seen that combo before. IS Disc mount drop bar in 2023 is also a rare thing. That bike comes with a steel fork, but whats shown is matching color carbon- also a surprise.

The whole thing is a visual overload of not typically seen features.

I was perusing Italian bike builders and came across Marco Bertoletti's "Legend" website. This is his Sella Ronda model. Could not take my eyes of the pic for some time. Attraction converted to action, I have one exactly like this photo in the works.

My SoftRide is one of my favorites; although it’s not to everyone’s taste, I’ve taken it on a lot of memorable rides, and made a lot of personalized upgrades to it, so I always enjoy it.

My KLEIN is also a lot of fun to ride, but you can’t look at it for too long, or the fluorescent orange paint will leave trails on your retinas.

I’ve always wanted a Renovo; I first saw one at the Museum of Science and Industry in ’15, and thought they were fascinating combination of craft and tech . Way out of my budget, though.
