16.19 miles v. ENDOMONDO

Tried my best today on this new route. There were 3 bridges that you see marked in the picture with the red arrows. I walked up the first two, which have a height somewhere north of 60' (dont trust GPS altimeter).

Strangely enough, I am not hurting. I had some mild discomfort from the stock specialized riva seat and an oddly aligned cleat which annoyed me. I made changes when I got home. Still, I feel like I could go ride another 10 no sweat. Ok, yes sweat. Lots of sweat. But still.

I find it funny that Endomondo has said you ascended 66ft and descended 207ft when you stopped and started at the same elevation doing a loop. There is something very wrong with Endomondo's altimeter readings and I think a very serious flaw in an otherwise great app. If I want to know what elevations I actually export my gps data and use another site to fix my elevations - it is a bit of a pain.

Other than that little rant, great job on your ride!

A while back I had Endomondo go nuts on me, I had just upgraded to "pro" and it clocked me at over 800kpm on a folding bike. I knew that bike was special... or maybe that's a privilege of "pro"? If only it could do that for every commute...

For fun I've set up a BikeForums "Team" on Endomondo -- anyone can join, all rides accumulate and you can see what other riders are up to.

PS: I don't work for Endomondo, I don't know anyone who works for Endomondo... I just like it.
