Please Recommend Trainer Videos
What do you recommend for trainer videos?
I’d like to try using some training videos this winter to offset the boredom and hopefully get a bit more out of my sessions. For the past two years I have mostly listened to music or sometimes watched shows on Netflix. I usually alternate days of spinning steady at a moderate including excursions up a few gears and back down with days of “music induced” intervals (i.e. upshifts and going all out during the chorus then recover/repeat). It’s not scientific. I do not have a cadence sensor, power meter, or HR monitor and don’t see any of these in the future. There were some training videos that came with my Road Machine, but for the life of me I can’t remember what they were or where they are but I am looking for them.
Thanks in advance for your input!

I watch then on a tablet. I mount with a tablet bike mount.

30 Bananas a Day
The guy is a screaming vegan so be careful. But if you can look past his extremist reasons as to why you should go vegan; Its short, sweet and too the point. 30 Bananas a Day on Youtube in combination with what others are suggesting should work. Good luck

Tried a Sufferfest video for the first time yesterday, the 'Fight Club' one. It was a pretty good workout, the last attack was definitely a struggle. Would prefer if they showed efforts as FTP percentage instead of RPE, but apart from that I quite liked it, might use a few of them again in the future.

But in terms of free online training videos, there really isn't much out there. If you're willing to spend $ Sufferfest is probably the best unless you have a smart trainer setup to connect to Zwift.

Any thoughts on Pain Cave versus Sufferfest? PC seems more appealing in that it's subscription based and I only plan using this through the winter months and there's 15-20 to choose from.

If you are using TrainerRoad and a high-end trainer (like the KICKR), efforts are calculated from FTP into target wattage, then ERG mode is used so you are running that precise wattage, no matter your RPM.
