1974 Mercier re build
Spend some time last Year , gathering all the somewhat period correct stuff for this rebuild, previously had it in working condition with Franken parts, added some Arraya rims, Campagnolo hubs , Mafac Racers brakes and Suntour VGT derailleur, Concor leather Saddle.

Wow. Cable bosses on the right side of the top tube. I don't think I've ever seen that before. Was that clip that attaches to the seatpost binder pin and holds up the center pulls easy to find?

Well done. My 75 Gitane frame also has the right side cable bosses on the TT and that brake cable hanger on the binder bolt. My '79 Moto has that hanger too. Must be common on French bikes?

My 1971 Nishiki had them, as have both of my UO-8s. My 1962 Bianchi had left side bosses, presumably to favor the left-rear brake cable routing it came with.

I was just wondering why there is no Marquis on the head tube. Is that common for Merciers?
Also, is that a Duprat crank?

The "marque" is the headbadge.
I have almost the same Duprat crank on my Grubb 46-40T.
